Is Bel Air a big church...yes. Can you get lost there...yes. But if you are welling to step out and open yourself up there is a tremendous church family there waiting to welcome you. From the young marrieds, to the growing families, college, high school, men's, women's...there is something there for all. Pastor Brewer presents the Word in such a way that makes Sunday's enjoyable and so that you walk away thinking about what you just heard as opposed to walking away with nothing but the fact you "went to church". Highly recommended!

I started checking out Bel Air Pres when I was a student at UCLA. It's amazing - overlooks the Valley, the guy who leads their worship band performs in Hollywood, and all their messages are Biblical,…

This church is alive with authentic relationships and real relationships with Christ and each other...a church that seeks to return the ministry back into the hands of the people. The 11am service is…

Despite the awesomeness of the place, it will be whatever you want. For those of us who prefer privacy, it's there. For those who wish to be fawned over & communal, it's there. I've never felt so comfortable in a church.

I was involved with Bel Air for a couple of years. As far as a campus beauty goes, it can't be beat. However, if you're not a Hollywood actor, director, etc..you might feel kind of strange there. The place is a mega-networking ground for artists to the point that it is sickening. Secondly so much vanity! I detest that every time I went to a worship service, someone was sitting in front of me cuddling their girlfriend and giving them a back rub. Church is not really the place for that. I have never learned anything from Mark Brewer. He jokes too much (the kind of humor that is opposite to self-deprecation), so all of his jokes are self-edification kinda jokes.. it gets old. Some people like him, but I honestly NEVER got anything out of this man. One time we were in a retreat and he gave all these sexual analogies. The topic of the retreat was prayer! What the hell was he thinking? Anyhow, this is a WAAAY too comfortable church. If you want a sanitary, rich white (WASP) church, this maybe the place for you. However if you start going there, ask your self very soon: "am I growing"? or "am I just enjoying the entertainment provided"? There's a lot of materialism and money in this church. Teenagers riding Lexus cars that their parents bought for them..etc. There's average people too.. but just beware of this church.

You know those little pew cards that new members can fill out when they visit a church? Whenever I come to Bel Air Pres I am always tempted to write on the card, "You should make your church motto…
